Believers in Jesus Christ are so blessed to have our identity rooted and grounded in Christ. The more we focus on who God says we are, the better off we will be emotionally.
2 Cor. 5:17 -"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come."
Eph. 2:10 - "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."
Gal. 2:20 - "I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."
1 Peter 2:9 - "But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light."
One of the reasons I love flowers is because they each have their unique "personalities" while remaining true to their purpose. It seems to me that God created flowers for the purpose of bringing us colorful joy and beauty to behold. These white flowers happily shine their faces at us from the depths of their bluish-greenish leaves.
