The Flowers are Preaching - Are We Listening?
Share
June has arrived which means we are half-way through 2025. Wow! Is it me, or is time speeding up? While the world seems to be hurtling toward chaos and a "new world order", there is something incredibly good going on in quiet, small groups of the remnant of believers who still believe God and God's Word.
This remnant, they are growing stronger, more full of courage, more interested in deeply studying God's Word. They are filled with peace, hope, and joy no matter what circumstances they find themselves in. I want to always be part of this remnant!
The strong rock of Truth doesn't move even when artificial intelligence is moving the masses further and further away from reality and truth. Jesus Christ, He is our Rock and if you stand on Jesus Christ, and use your authority that He has given to you, you will be strong of mind and heart, able to transform your thinking, able to break strongholds, able to be victorious and able to remain standing in God's Truth no matter what happens.
As I am writing this email, I can feel myself wanting to stand up and cheer! I want to shout to all believers that Jesus Christ gives you POWER to pray, to ask for and receive God's Truth and discernment in these deceptive times. I am cheering you on and I encourage you to read your Bible. Read it slowly, verse by verse, chapter by chapter. Line upon line, precept upon precept. Ask God to show you what He wants you to learn from it. He will be faithful to answer this prayer.
James 1:5 says, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him."
Yes, wisdom and discernment are going to be very, very important going forward.
"Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is." - Ephesians 5:15-17.
If your peace starts to shake and tremble, restore it quickly by getting into prayer, reading God's Word, going out into nature where you can hear the birds chirping and see the flowers blooming. God's creation is part of God's "message" to us and the more we use our smart phones and depend on technology, the MORE we need to get out into God's creation.
Romans 1:20 says, "For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse."
Be of good courage, if you have faith in Jesus Christ, then you are full of His power!
What is your favorite place to go spend time in nature? For me, the beach is my favorite, closely followed by meadows, mountains, and forests. As you may know, if you have been reading my emails for any length of time, flowers are very special to me no matter where they are found. Their brightly colored "faces" sing about the glory of their Creator and they provide endless beauty for us to look at (and to smell).
Lately, I have been deriving a lot of peace and joy from looking at all the blooming flowers in May and now June. I have created two new floral paintings, one of which I will share a photograph below.
I will be taking better photographs of both my recent floral paintings over the next week so that I can create prints of these paintings which will show up in my shop. If you would like to bring a little taste of floral art into your home, the prints that will become available will be a great, affordable way to do that. For now, I have some floral prints available on canvas that were part of my Spring Floral 2025 collection, but I'll let you know when the new florals are available.
