Expressive Arts Healing Sessions

Find Clarity, Healing, and Creative Renewal Through the Power of Art

Are you navigating a challenging season of life? Struggling with emotions that feel
tangled or hard to name? Sometimes words alone aren’t enough — and that’s where
expressive art can help.

My Expressive Arts Healing Sessions are one-on-one Zoom sessions that guide you
through intuitive, soulful art-making as a way to process emotions, gain insight, and connect with your God-given creativity. Using simple materials you already have on hand — like paint, pens, or paper — you’ll learn how to turn your inner world into visual expressions that bring clarity and healing.

This is not about making “pretty” art. It’s about creating space for your emotions to
speak and for God to meet you in the process.

You’ll also learn how to use art journaling as an ongoing spiritual and emotional
practice, helping you find renewed hope and a stronger sense of your unique voice — even after the sessions are complete.

During each session, we’ll use whatever art materials you have on hand — paint,
colored pencils, collage, or even just a pen and paper — to help you process what’s
weighing on your heart or mind. These sessions aren’t about creating “perfect” art.
They’re about connecting with your inner voice, honoring your emotions, and
discovering new insights through the creative process.

Kathy Kendrick
“I highly recommend Sherry Joy Collier’s painting courses and mentorship! Her course helped me so much to re-connect with my passion for painting and creativity. During the pandemic, this creative outlet has helped me cope with the anxiety of being home! Sherry explains each step so well, her manner is relaxed and conversational. Her ideas and comments are so inspiring. She is always available to encourage and support me. Fun, easy, informative. The whole package!”

“Sherry gave our organization an incredible presentation on using expressive arts towards the goal of personal healing in a therapy setting. Rather than simply lecturing, Sherry facilitated an actual exercise for the group. It was an overwhelming success, and many people commented to me about how great an experience it was. She really has a way with encouraging people who normally shy away from artistic expression to engage it - and thereby discover something about themselves that can be trans formative. Thank you, Sherry!”
